Real sharks are blind dead-ahead and dead-behind - a great white even rolls its eyes back and bites blind. Tactical Shark turns that into the hunt: keep your prey in your side-vision, because the instant it slips into your blind cone, it's gone - and so is your shot.

How to play

  • Hold Left Mouse & drag - trace a swim path; your shark glides along it. Long, smooth, sweeping arcs build momentum; short, jerky turns bleed it away. The line shades green -> orange -> red as momentum drains - and once you draw it, you're committed.
  • W - arm a lunge, drag to aim, release to strike. The cleaner you swam in, the farther you reach.
  • Q - cancel the lunge and go back to drawing a path.
  • Swim through a school to gulp several fish at once, or lunge a lone one. Every fish is score.
  • True Shark Vision - toggle in the menu, on by default. It's the blind-cone challenge above; switch it off for an easier, full-vision run.

What's hunting you

  • You're not the only hunter in the blue. Enemy sharks stalk you, and more join the longer you survive - they're the only thing that can end your run. Keep moving.

Very fun and unique controls, would be nice to be able to pre-draw your next move to keep momentum

Thank you for the comment! We ran out of time to implement/refine all of the features we wanted, but the general idea with the line-drawing was that your movement would be a bit of a commitment, and the reward for a longer line is that your momentum increases. Shorter lines wouldn't increase your momentum as much, and sharp angles would also decrease your momentum. I don't think that's exactly reflected well in this build, but that was the idea behind it!
